Eclipse® Nightguard Material
Options:
  • Single Layer Hard Nightguard

    Fabricated out of Eclipse® Clear Baseplate Resin.

  • Dual Layer Laminate

    A laminate of two layers. The hard outer layer that provides a firm occusal surface fabricated out of Eclipse® Clear Baseplate Resin. The thermoplastic resilient inner lining, made with Eclipse® Resilient Soft Resin, aids in delivery and retention

Eclipse® Heat and Seat Nightguards

Insertion: Flow hot tap water (130o F / 54o C) over the inner surface of the appliance for
20-30 seconds, then seat.
Removal: Rinse mouth with warm water for 5-10 seconds and carefully remove.
Disinfection: Surface disinfections (e.g. Solo™, Sultan Healthcare) are recommended.
Cleaning: Lightly brush nightguard with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste or use a denture
cleaner.
 
IDL's Sportsguard

ProForm Laminated Material
The ProForm laminate was originally developed by a dentist to provide superior intra-oral protection for NHL hockey and NFL football players. The unique two-layered construction provided retention, protect, and com­fort far beyond other materials. The ProForm laminate soon became the standard mouthguard materials used by profession sports players.
Options:
  • Clear, Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Yellow, Black.
 
Technical Note
Dentist Provide: Upper impression or model.
Cleaning: Dental Resources recommends a periodic washing with a mild liquid soap and soft brush, followed by a rinsing in a pleasant flavored mouthwash to remove the soap taste. The laminate should then be stored in a well ventilated plastic container when not in use.

For children and young adults:
The fabricated laminates should be checked once a year by the dentists to insure proper fit.
