George Englund, CDT
Vice President
After attending a private dental technology school in Seattle, George Englund worked as a lab technician at Seattle's Virginia Mason Hospital dentistry practice. Shortly after, he opened his own laboratory.
In 1995—after 15 successful years in business—Englund Dental Lab merged with Issaquah Dental Lab.  In the ensuing fifteen years they created the premier dental lab in the Northwest.
 
Issaquah Dental Lab was the first lab in the U.S. to install the 3M Lava cad cam system in 2003 and rose to become the technology leader in the dental lab industry. Issaquah Milling Center was born, and quickly became the largest producer of lava substructures in the world.
George has served on the board of the Washington State Dental Lab Association; he also partnered with other lab professionals to develop outcome skill standards for the dental lab profession. This past year George celebrated 25 years as a Certified Dental Technician.
 
Currently George serves as Vice President of Issaquah Dental Lab, and serves as a trustee on the University of Washington School of Dentistry Deans Club board. George is also involved in a variety of dental research projects relating to digitaldentistry.

Joseph C. Jennings, CDT MBA
Vice President, Novadent Northwest
Prior to joining Novadent Inc., Joe was the General Manager of Dental Technology Solutions, a division of the Whip Mix Corporation.  This division was equipped with the latest zirconia and titanium milling technology and specialized in the fabrication of high-quality copings and custom implant abutments.  Formerly, Joe was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a major dental laboratory in the Midwest.
 
Joe earned his AAS degree in Dental Laboratory Technology form Triton College of River Grove, Illinois.  He NBC certified and is a Recognized Graduate with a Technologist designation. In addition, he holds a BA and MBA from Lewis University of Romeoville, Illinois. Joe was the Fixed Prosthodontic Technician for the Post Graduate Department of the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry for seven years. He has more than 28yrs of dental technology experience.

Shannon Gunderson
Sales and Marketing Manager
Shannon is vital to Issaquah Dental Laboratory's success.  She has 18yrs of industry experience, including 13 years as territory manager for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.  Her ability to facilitate communication between our clients and the laboratory is unique.  Shannon often attends study club events and supports our new clients while they get acquainted with Issaquah Dental Laboratory.  She is also a driving force for digital impression technology which we believe is the future of dentistry.

Janine Vazquez
Customer Care Manager
Janine has 8 yrs of dental lab management, customer relations, and sales experience.  She has a rare skill set that includes 12 years of dental assisting experience.  Her knowledge of dental practices and scheduling has proven vital to the success of Issaquah Dental Lab and IMC.  She is in charge of Issaquah Dental Lab and Issaquah Milling Center Customer Care Department where she is responsible for welcoming new clients, scheduling, coordination of cases, and answering client questions.

Allister Gibbons
Implant Restoration Manager
Considered Issaquah Dental Laboratory and Issaquah Milling Center's living and breathing restorative encyclopedia, Allister has been a team leader for 8 years. He often attends study club events and is a valuable resource to our clients. He has 20 yrs experience in the dental lab industry. Allister has also earned a National Higher Diploma, Dental Technology.

Barney Martens

Barney has worked in a variety of dental laboratories over the last 20yrs.  His experience and positions held in both large and small laboratories has conditioned him to deal with the many unique challenges within the dental laboratory business.  Barney is a specialist in case planning and knowledgeable at discussing material options.  His skill with people and vast industry knowledge allow him to field a wide array of technical questions.

Jennifer Swenson
Production Coordinator
With nearly 20 years of customer service and sales support experience, Jennifer is a recent addition to Issaquah Dental Laboratory and Issaquah Milling Center. As the Production Coordinator she directs the flow of all cases within the lab while maintaining a strong line of communication between the lab technicians, surgeons, restorative doctors and IDL sales staff and ensuring that seat dates and restorations meet the expectations of everyone involved. Her responsibilities also include account set-up, delivery of product and pricing information, and invoicing all Digital Implant cases.

Tramain Watkins
Q.C. Manager
With 24 years in the dental laboratory industry, Tramain is a valuable asset to Issaquah Dental Lab and their clients. He has experience in all aspects of several different dental laboratories. Tramain's range of expertise extends from fixed restorations to removable restorations and laboratory management. Currently Tramain is Issaquah's Final Quality Control technician.
